Welcome to the Vidigal Lab!

We study the regulatory functions of RNA pathways in mammals

We use a multidisciplinary approach to study how RNA-centered processes regulate gene expression during development and homeostasis and how disruption of these processes contributes to disease.

Open science

We support the free and timely distribution of knowledge and data and will deposit all our work as a preprint in bioarxiv. We also support the dissemination of preprints through our RNApreprint website.

We aim to foster an environment of intellectual rigour, curiosity, collegiality, collaboration, mentoring, and good humor. We value all types of diversity including of thought, of background, and of experience.

We have fully funded positions at all levels. We aim to build a multidisciplinary team. If you are interested in RNA biology click below to learn more about these opportunities and how to apply!

The Vidigal Lab at NCI

The Vidigal Lab is joining the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (LBMB) at the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health on May 2018. However, this is not an official NIH site, and does not represent the views of our host institution. Please follow the links on the right if you want to be directed to official NIH sites.

Hello everyone and welcome to week 11 of #RNApreprints. Here is your weekly thread. Enjoy!
